My favorite Children's Book

My favorite book is "Brown Bear Brown Bear".I love this because it introduces a series of animals asking the same question "What do you see?" It teaches a simple song rhyme about colorful animals that will help to develop memory skills. This book is a great activity for sequencing and retelling. I read it often to my students and they love it.

  1. "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" is a great book for toddlers and some early preschoolers. Older preschoolers love this book because of the repetition. Using this book for site words as the children get older is another great use of the book itself. I always loved it because of the different animals. So many projects can stem from this book. Eric Carle is an amazing author and his book are great for early childhood. The colors and stories get children engaged in the books and allow for learning through play, as well.
